Return to EDUCATION IN AFRICA

Education is an important corner stone for development. Donors and grantmakers are using a range of different program strategies to improve education access and performance. A key question is what are the best practices? The following video excerpts are from a seminar on "Funding Education in Africa" organized to bring together experts and grantmakers to share with and learn from each other.

The speakers represent public and private organizations and their comments and presentations describe some of the challenges and approaches used in making quality education accessible.

Audio is also available from the webinar series on "The Nexus of Information and Education," a three part series that culminated in the seminar.
